MATCH REPORT

Werribee journeyed out to sunny Clayton. We had some new players coming in to our team. First qtr Werribee jumped us early scoring some quick goals. We put first gamer American Steve in the ruck for his first game of football and he did an awesome job. We settled down into play but kept getting caught. At qtr time we were a couple of goals down we had some good passages of play all day. But some of our skill levels were down . Tala, Disco Dasha Seal Eddie and Sammy were working hard to get us back in the game. Bear was giving us a good target up forward and taking some great grabs. But his goal kicking needs some work.

At half time we were 11 points down. Tony was very good at full back . Sammy drilled an awesome torpedo goal and gave everyone a lift. Going into the last qtr they kicked a quick goal and made it very hard to win from there. But this bunch of guys dug deep by kicking a couple of goals and we were 5 points down.

Unfortunately the siren went and we just fell short. We need goal kicking practice that cost us.

Would like to thank the 50s guys that played they were fantastic. Sammy Eddie Seal Brad G, Rev, Tony Thorne & Vinny. I think we are not far off a win and these guys are awesome.
