MATCH REPORT

Round 9 saw the over 50's travel once more, this time to North Heidelberg to take on foundation team Diamond Valley.

The game was played in much better spirit as hoped and as a whole we were far more competitive than 12 months ago, against this team.

When we moved the ball quickly we looked like fantastic and Captain (for the day) Marko and Colin T proved to be handy links in the chain for slick ball movement in the first half.

Diamond Valley were forced to dig deep and in the end their talls and smarts just proved to be too much however, I was extremely proud of our efforts and encouraged by the steady improvement that is being shown.
