MATCH REPORT

For Round 11 and the last round of the season, Warriors Over 50's travelled to the home of arch rival Carrum, who last year took the chocolates at our home ground to secure bragging rights. Very pleasing to have 21 players available for the last game and the bench looked strong.

Big Dave - our Captain for the day- kicked a true Captain's goal in the first quarter and at half time Warriors were still in the hunt at 1.4.10 to 3.8.26.

Carrum had certainly improved since last year and scored 2 more goals in the third quarter however, Warriors made an effort to at least win the last quarter and kick the only two goals.

On a personal note I would like to thank all whom played and contributed towards our second and consolidating season in over 50's footy !
