MATCH REPORT

What a cold and crappy day we arrived down at Fox Road with only 16 players and we were lucky that Mark and Dean from Narre helped us out. We ran out on the ground had a good warm up and away we went. From the first bounce we started slowly with Peninsula kicking the first goal, but after that the Warriors got on top. Big Al dominated the ruck the whole day with some big knock outs to centre half forward. With Seal Juzzy Disco and Mark controlling the middle half way through first qtr we had all the play for not much return. Cam and Matt C were providing good targets up forward and at qtr time the game was very close.

I told the boys to open the forward line open and work in board more and it worked with Juzzy Scotty Lester and Matty C kicking goals. At half time we had a little lead. I told the boys that the 2nd half was massive and really set it up for a big win. Our backline was excellent again with Miles Kieran Scotty Rowdy Troy Tony Thorne all playing their role. One of the highlights of the 3rd qtr was Klaus mark then chip it to sammy for a goal, it was just great to watch. Also Matty D and Fitzy dominated the wings giving us great drive. Last qtr was a battle and a hard slog. Was great to see Dasha back to his gutsy best even with a dodgy shoulder. Thats what I love about this playing group, we are gutsy and playing some great footy. The siren went and i think we were turning purple it was that cold.

Fantasic win, I'm very proud of the boys and also was awesome to have the two Brads running the bench, it's a massive help. Also Tony and Sammy, it was awesome how you helped us out and be part of a great Warriors win. Sitting 4th now must keep winning.
