MATCH REPORT

After the one point thriller against Mornington we took on Parkdale. We knew it was going to be a hard physical game. It was a cold day with a bit of rain around. We started off well with Cameron slotting the first goal with his first kick for the club. We were doing well in the middle with Big Al dominating the ruck, Seal, Juzzy and Disco were giving drive through the middle, Matty D and Brad were fantastic on the wings and by half time we were 4 goals up.

The forward line was fantastic all game. Matt C was awesome at full forward and Cameron playing really well at centre half forward. Kieran, Brad C and Scotty Lester did a lot of hard work around forward and Sammy also played up forward presenting opportunities. Our backline was awesome all day led by Miles, Tony Thorne, Scotty, Rowdy and Fitzy with Klaus as well. Our backline over the last 2 weeks have been fantastic.

At 3 qtr time we had a 6 goal lead. I told the boys how well we had played all day. We did not let up in the last qtr running away with a 36 point win, a real gutsy affair, the only goal Parkdale kicked was after the final siren when Fitzy tried his fancy footwork and got caught. Our team is playing real gutsy football with great results so we are just sitting outside the top 4. Next round we come up against Carrum the boys are ready and we cannot wait
