MATCH REPORT

Round 4 we travelled down to Mornigton with only 19 players but what a result! The game started at a fairly quick pace. They jumped us early but it was a hard contested first quarter. Al was competing well in the ruck and the on ballers were doing a fairly good job led by Seal, Juzzy and Disco. Back line were amzing the whole day, nice and tight.

By half time we had a bit of a run on and could feel the taste of winning. Dasha went off with a fractured shoulder, really unlucky, he was playing well. The boys came out in the 3rd and showed real spirit with Matty D and Brad G giving good drive off the wings. Kieran went up to centre half forward and took some ripping grabs and really set us alight. Jeremy suffered a really nasty knee injury and at 3 quarter time we were down to 17 players.

I told the boys we are a good last quarter team and we had belief and heart to do it. Every player found real guts and heart to get us over the line even though we kicked 2 goals 7. One of the best wins in this football club and we let them know about it belting out the song!
